On 23rd June 2019, during a lull in the Battalion training at Sennybridge and as the Battalion gathered for a Field Remembrance Service to commemorate 10 years since the loss of life whilst on Operation HERRICK 10 in Afghanistan, the Commanding Officer took the opportunity to present coins to the following individuals.
LSgt Forde: for outstanding and noteworthy support to ‘The Not Forgotten Association’s’ garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Gdsm Evans 16: for outstanding drive and determination, and working consistently above his rank in the Signals Platoon.
Gdsm Dyer: for exemplary moral courage in assisting a disabled Veteran whilst guarding Buckingham Palace.
Gdsm Gronow and Gdsm Cobb-Evans: for exceptionally high standards whilst conducting public duties.
