There was a great turnout for the meeting at Holyhead Golf Club, a good and challenging course.  It was particularly good to be able to hold a short memorial service beforehand for Dai Williams 59 and well done to Keith Lewis for making the arrangements and thanks to both Sergeant Stuart Laing from Regimental Headquarters for playing Last Post and to Phil Hen for taking some wonderful photographs for us.

The results for the day are as follows :-

Winner - Peter Richardson
2nd Place - Mark Horwood
3rd Place - Geraint Hughes
Nearest Pin - Mike Mowbray
Longest Drive - John Morgan
Best Guest -John Williams

2’s - Martin Griffiths, John Morgan, Danny Williams (G), John Williams (G)

Peter Richardson also wins the Eiffion Jones Cup which was presented by Mary Oliver Eiffon’s partner who gave the cup to the society in his memory.

Everyone’s score is recorded and will be carried forward as the prize for this year’s golfer of the year will be run over the three meetings so there is still lots to play for.
