As has become traditional, a group of Welsh Guards veterans have made a return visit to the Falkland Islands for the first time since the conflict of 1982. Visiting from 24th February until 6th March, the visit always includes a Memorial Service on St David's Day at the Welsh Guards Memorial at Fitzroy.
Subsidised by the Welsh Guards Charity (for first time returnees), the visit is organised each year by Major Charlie Carty MBE and included; Gary Howard, Dick Clarke, Ian Hall, John Davies 12, Peter Thomas 37, Gary Thomas 23, Jeff Buck and Steve Williams 63.
