A Fundraising thank you to Steve Wannell and his wonderful family, friends and supporters who have again raised a tremendous amount for the Welsh Guards Charity.  Your annual efforts in memory of Thomas Sloman are an inspiration and the Welsh Guards Charity thanks you for the wonderful support.

Guardsman Thomas Sloman served in the Welsh Guards from 2007-2016, before he tragically passed away at the age of 28.

Sloman

On Friday 28th September in his memory, his stepfather Steve Wannell, accompanied by Tom’s brother Ben and family friend Jason, conquered Mount Snowdon. The challenging journey to the summit and back took them less than 5 hours, an incredible achievement. The trio were cheered on and welcomed home by Tom’s mother Tracey and Jason’s partner Sarah, as well as Sgt Duffy of RST North.

Although sadly no longer with us, Tom’s legacy lives on through the fund-raising events held by his family each year in aid of the Welsh Guards Charity.

If you wish to donate and help them reach their fundraising target it's not too late, visit Steve's Just Giving page here to make a donation.
