With the arrival in theatre of the finishers medals from the Cardiff Half Marathon, the Op TORAL Running Challenge has now come to an end.
Whilst on Operations in Afghanistan (OP TORAL 6) members of the Battalion have completed the ABP Newport Wales Marathon, JCP Swansea Half Marathon and Cardiff Half Marathon. All of these events, whilst allowing the opportunity to train and work towards a common goal, have been in aid of both the ABF The Soldiers' Charity and our own Welsh Guards Charity.
The Regimental Trustees appreciate every single bit of effort that is put into raising funds for the Welsh Guards Charity and sincerely congratulate and thank all those that took part.
