Today saw the culmination of 28 weeks intense training on the Combat Infantryman’s Course for Number 22 and 24 Platoon as they paraded and marched off the square for the final time at the Infantry Training Centre at Catterick.

Four of the fifteen trainee Welsh Guardsmen picked up awards; Trainee Guardsman Winney for best navigation (22 Pl), Trainee Guardsman Hughes for best physical training, Trainee Guardsman Hoyle for best drill/turnout and Trainee Guardsman Caulfield-Dollard for best navigation (24 Pl).

The Guardsmen will now embark on driving courses, education and some well earned leave before reporting to the Battalion at Combermere barracks, Windsor - we wish them well in their careers.
