Using the Regimental Debentures, two tickets have been purchased for the Rugby World Cup 2019 warm up matches being played at the Principality Stadium Cardiff on Sunday 11th August (v England) and on Saturday 31st August (v Ireland).
The two tickets for the England game have been presented to Welsh Guards veterans Lance Corporal Geraint Hillard and Drummer Dale Leach, both of whom sustained life changing injuries on 12 June 2009 whilst deployed in Afghanistan on Op HERRICK 10.
The two tickets for the Ireland Game will be presented to members of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in due course.
