The Regiment held a special day on 6 September where we were able to thank the Peterson family and the considerable numbers of charity supporters associated with them, along with some Drapers from our affiliated Livery Company who also do so much to help us. The day was spent at the Battalion’s base in Pirbright and after a central brief on the Battalion and its future, a number of activities were held involving weapons, vehicles and equipment stands and some live firing. The day finished with lunch in the Officers’ Mess. The Regiment was delighted to be able to repay some of the considerable kindness and generosity and a great day was had by all.
